MARIE MURRAY
Hi There, my name is Marie...
and I specialize with photographing outdoor portraits in my beautiful hometown of Chico, California. I was raised here in Chico and have grown up exploring the unique neighborhoods by bike, hiking in Upper Bidwell, swimming anywhere there was a creek or pond, and really falling in love with this community.
Throughout my years of home-schooling and serving around the Chico community, I have met many amazing people and gained a lot of new friends. In God's perfect planning though, my family moved from the Bay Area to Northern California and eventually settled in Chico when I was young. Around the same time, a family I had not met yet also moved here from the Bay. Years later, I would first cross paths with this family and their son, Saxon at a Junior High church event. Little would we know that about 10 years after that Saxon and I would start dating and eventually be married in 2015. I adore this town not only because of its people and charm, but because it is the place I met and married my husband! Saxon has been my support and personal cheer leader throughout our years together and I am so excited to see where God takes us as my photography business keeps growing.
The types of portrait sessions I offer are designed for couples, children, families, and family gatherings. I aim to provide a relaxing and memorable experience that is special for each individual client that incorporates their favorite Chico locations and scenery!
